Homemade Bug Killer for Beetles & June Bugs

    Use garlic spray as a homemade bug-repellent.  

    • 1). Measure 3 ounces of minced garlic and 1 ounce of mineral oil. Combine them together.

    • 2). Soak the minced garlic with mineral oil for 24 hours or more. Strain the garlic bits out and put the oil in a plastic container. Set the garlic oil aside.

    • 3). Measure 1 teaspoon of fish emulsion and 16 ounces of water. Mix them together. Measure 1 tablespoon of castile soap and mix it with the fish emulsion and water mixture.

    • 4). Mix the garlic oil with the fish emulsion water.

    • 5). Make a garlic spray by taking 2 tablespoons of garlic oil from the sealed container. Mix the garlic oil with 1 pint of water and spray it on areas where bugs and beetles reside. Do not spray when the temperature is above 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

       

    Use lime spray as a homemade bug-killer.

    • 1). Measure 1 ounce of hydrated lime, 32 ounces of water, and 1 teaspoon of castile soap.

    • 2). Mix the materials together in a container.

    • 3). Spray it twice a week in areas where you are having bug problems.
