Most guys tend to fall into a few different categories.
There's the serial monogamist, who goes from girlfriend to girlfriend with nobody in between.
These guys fall quickly into relationships.
While this can keep you from getting lonely, it doesn't really allow for "feeling out" a girl, so to speak, before getting involved with her.
On the other hand, there are guys who avoid relationships like the plague.
At the first hint of commitment, he'll run for the hills.
Whether or not this is a personal issue or not isn't really the point.
If you'd rather never, ever get a girlfriend, and are satisfied with a string of short term flings, that's your choice.
However, if you'd like to find a high quality, qualified woman who meets all your needs, neither the serial monogamy route, or the "pump and dump" route is going to get you there.
What will? Date plenty of women.
Ideally, at any given point, you should be dating between two and three women.
The basic strategy is like this.
On the front end, you'll always be collecting numbers.
Any time you find yourself in the presence of an attractive women, you should start a casual conversation, and get her number.
If she gives it to you, great, if not, no big deal.
The next step is the first date.
This should always be casual, laid back and short.
An hour or two, tops.
If possible, in the afternoon.
After the first date goes OK, you can move on to subsequent dates.
The idea is that by dating plenty of different girls, of different types, you'll be solidifying your criteria of what's important to you in your "ideal woman.
" You'll find that the more experience you get, the better skilled you'll get at collecting numbers and going on dates.
You'll also find that your standards are getting higher and higher.
Of course, you'll eventually meet a girl who meets all your criteria, at which point you'll want to talk commitment.
But until you get there, always be open and honest.
If they ask if you date other girls, say yes.
If they say that they won't date you if you won't commit, politely decline and stop seeing them.
This is an easy, stress free way to sort through girls until you find the right one.
Instead of falling into relationship after relationship with girls that only partially "cut it," you'll eventually find somebody that gives you everything you deserve.
Of course, if you haven't dated in a while, starting this whole process can be difficult.
Just take it slow, do whatever you're comfortable with, and keep moving forward.
