Parallel Meanings Lead to Parallel Universes

Think about this: Your professor assigned a 5 page essay due Wednesday.
It's on your favorite topic; Behind the scenes.
You are thinking, 'Great, I'm a theater major, this should be easy for me.
' However, you have failed to remember that this is a Psychology class, and realized this once you finished the assignment.
It is due tomorrow, and there is no time left to rewrite it, so you stick to what you have.
The next day, you hand in the assignment, hands clammy.
When you get the assignment back, your professor congratulates you, telling you that the moral of the lesson was that everything can mean something else.
Now you are probably getting ready to click out of this, wondering what relevance that had.
I am going to tell you that, when you misinterpret things, it can get embarrassing.
Believe me when I say it's not a fun experience.
In the situation before, with the teacher congratulating him; what could have happened, is the student fix his assignment, and rewrite it to what he thought the teacher wanted.
In fact, somewhere, that did happen.
It happened in a parallel universe.
Many scientists believe that there are parallel dimensions or universes, where what could have happened in a situation, but didn't, actually happens.
This is insane, and illogical, but if you think about it, pretty cool.
You should be careful when interpreting not just assignments, but anything in life.
Make sure you don't put yourself into embarrassing situations by getting the wrong impression, or thinking something means something that it doesn't.
If all else fails, ask!
