Appetite Boosting Herbs For Low Carb Diet
This article will discuss about appetite boosting herbs.
This is based on the question from a friend of mine who is finding it really difficult with the low carbohydrate version of the diet at the moment.
He's feeling like eating nothing, especially the vegetables that he's not used to.
He tends to just eat salads and meat most of the time.
He's wondering whether there's any herb that can help him boost his appetite to help eat things like broccoli, etc.
He's also wondering what other vegetables which are good to eat.
If you are having similar problems like my friend, be patient.
Try making stir fries, curries, stews.
A good recipe is lamb curry with garam masala, cumin seeds, garlic, turmeric (which is very good for candida), lots of fresh coriander.
Put vegetables in like onions, carrots, broccoli, bell peppers and, if you want, chillies.
Use unsweetened tinned tomatoes for the sauce if your candida diet allows to.
Another recipe is Thai Green Chicken Curry.
You can make your own green curry paste and use galangal, ginger, Thai basil, garlic, lemongrass, and unsweetened coconut milk.
It is delicious.
You can serve both on their own or with brown rice if you're allowed to.
Make big batches, split and freeze them in portion sized bags for days when you have less time.
About the herbs, I can't really help about it.
But don't despair, just be creative.
You have to make your diet more interesting and need to eat more so you're not underweight.
