    • 1). Remove the glovebox. Open it by lifting the latch, then press the side pieces in enough so the pegs will be freed, allowing the unit to be removed. Do this to both sides at the same time, because there are two pegs holding it in place.

    • 2). Remove the two passenger side screws holding the front panel in place. Place the removed screws in a place where they will not be lost.

    • 3). Remove the two screws from the steering column. These two screws are located directly below the steering wheel, on opposite sides. Also remove the single screw located right above the controls. There will be three metallic clips holding the column panel in place.

    • 4). Remove the two screws on the driver's side. These two are holding the center console panel into place.

    • 5). Remove the last two screws holding in the center console panel, then remove the panel completely by pulling it out. The first is located directly above the cigarette lighter, and the other is above the ashtray.

    • 6). Remove the four screws holding the stereo onto the harness, then disconnect the power and audio cables from the back of the unit. The stereo console can now be pulled out.
