Coleman PerfectFlow Insta Start Grill Stove Reviews:

The Coleman Insta Start Grill Stove was viewed very favorably by many reviewers on Amazon. Out of the 24 reviews, it managed to score 4.5 stars out of a possible 5. Many people feel it is a great product, capable of cooking food for up to four people. It cooks well and with just one or two pushes of the button, it is lit and ready to go.

One reviewer mentioned that he and his wife borrowed this particular grill from a friend of theirs for use on a camping trip in the redwood forest, and they absolutely loved it. They were pleasantly surprised when after cooking a variety of different meals over the course of the four or five day trip, they had only slightly used more than one bottle of propane, and concluded that it is a very efficient cooking tool.

A few people feel that it does take a tender touch to adjust the flame to the right temperature, with some feeling that it is only adjustable in a small range near the turn off point for the propane. Most of the time it stays close to full power. With the right touch however, you can get the level of flame that you desire.

A few reviewers did mention that a couple of the cons that go along with this grill are that large frying pans don't fit on it very well, and the lid won't close if you opt to purchase the griddle. In addition to that, it isn't very easy to fit everything inside the case if you were to buy the case too.

The way that the burners have been designed should suit most backpackers or campers quite well though. The grill is sturdy and the ignition system seems to work almost flawlessly. Another reviewer basically said that if you are looking to replace your old liquid fuel stove, do yourself a favor and get this stove, you won't be sorry that you did.

In the end, the unit seems to function great and it does exactly what it was meant to do. However, a few consumers feel that it may be overpriced by a small margin. If you like Coleman, it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot.
