    • 1). Open the native "Remote Desktop Connection" utility by clicking on its icon in the "Accessories" folder of your computer's "Start" menu.

    • 2). Type the computer name of the computer that contains folders you want to access.

    • 3). Click "Connect." A new "Remote Desktop Connection" session will launch in a program window on screen. You will be remotely connected to the specified computer. You will see its desktop in the program window.

    • 4). Double-click on the folder you want to access to view its contents.
