How to Increase Virtual Hard Disk Size With Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2

    • 1). Browse to the Virtual Server Administration Website. A link to this can be found in the "Programs," "Virtual Server 2005" folder on your computer.

    • 2). Click "Inspect" in the "Virtual Disks" section.

    • 3). Select the virtual hard disk from the drop-down list; for example, "C:\Shared Virtual Machines\Win7\Win7.vhd." Click "Inspect."

    • 4). Click "Convert Virtual Hard Disk."

    • 5). Select the correctly sized virtual hard disk from the drop-down list. Click "Convert."
