    • 1). Draw your design on paper. Turn the paper over and make dark pencil marks repeatedly over the back of the drawn design.

    • 2). Place the paper on the rubber stamp material with the darkly marked side directly in contact with the rubber stamp material.

    • 3). Trace over the drawing with a sharp pencil. Check that you are marking hard enough to transfer the drawing. Do not puncture the paper.

    • 4). Mark your drawing to indicate the areas you want to remove and the areas that you want to leave to pick up the stamp color.

    • 5). Use your cutting tools to remove the areas of your drawing that you do not want to have transferred when inked.

    • 6). Use a stamp pad or a brayer loaded with ink to apply the ink to your stamp.

    • 7). Turn the stamp face down and firmly press it onto a piece of paper to check your print for clarity. Trim off any area of rubber material you might have missed. Use the stamp as desired to decorate paper.
