How to Clean an Indoor Electric Grill Pad
- 1). Shortly after grill use, dampen a dish towel with water and place it over any visible food particles on the warm grill pad. The heat and moisture will loosen all stuck-on food and grease.
- 2
Run warm water and 1 tbsp. of dishwashing liquid in the kitchen sink. Fill the sink about half way. - 3
Remove any parts of the grill that are dishwasher safe and cycle through the dishwasher. Some makes and models are designed with dishwasher-safe cleaning in mind. If you aren't sure, do a manual cleaning. - 4
This grill has removable top and bottom pads, grease splatter tray, tool for food particle removal and a non-stick cleaning pad.
Scrub the grill pad free of all food and grease using a scrub sponge that is safe for non-stick surfaces. Rinse and set aside to air dry. Most surfaces are made with the same non-stick materials as cookware; using steel wool or similar products will ruin the non-stick surface. - 5). Scrub the grease splatter plate in the soap-and-water mixture until it's free of all grease. Rinse the plate and let it dry. Reassemble your indoor electric grill once it's dry.
