How to Download a Homemade DVD to Your Hard Drive
- 1). Download and install AnyDVD on your computer (see Resources).
- 2). Go to "Start" > "All Programs" > "AnyDVD." Run the application.
- 3). Insert your homemade DVD disk into the computer's DVD drive.
- 4). Give AnyDVD a few seconds to recognize the DVD. A pop-up balloon will appear in the system tray.
- 5). Right-click this balloon in the system tray. Now click "Rip Video DVD to Hard disk."
- 6). Select a destination folder for the copied video files. You can pick any folder or desktop.
- 7). Click on "Copy DVD" when the contents of the DVD are ready to be copied.
- 1). Download and install DVD Shrink (see Resources).
- 2). Load the DVD disk into the computer's DVD drive. Let DVD Shrink recognize the disc. Open DVD Shrink from "All Programs" in the "Start" menu.
- 3). Click on "Open Disc." Now choose your DVD drive from the list and hit "OK."
- 4). Let the program finish compressing the DVD data.
- 5). Click on the "Backup!" button in the main program window. This will save your movie to the computer's hard drive.

- 2). Insert the DVD into the DVD drive of your computer.
- 3). Run the application after it installs and specify "Source" and "Target." First, click the "Source Combo Box" and select the DVD drive. Then click the "Target Combo Box" and select the folder where you would like to save the copied file.
- 4). Click on "Start Copy" for copying the DVD. When it's done, it will show you a message notifying that the DVD has successfully been copied to your PC.
