How to Fix a Stuck Key on an IBM ThinkPad
- 1). Place your fingernail on the top left of the stuck key. Grip the key with your fingernail so that your fingernail is just under the key.
- 2). Lift the key up in a firm motion with your fingernail. The key should gently come off.
- 3). Wipe the area on and around the key with a dry cloth so that any crumbs that are hanging around the surface are removed.
- 4). Wipe the key off with the cloth. Make sure that no crumbs are on the top or bottom of the key.
- 5). Place the key back into place on the keyboard firmly until you hear a click. Press on the key to test whether it is still stuck.
