Doing Cocaine - Has it Decreased Your Ambition?

103 4
No one who is doing cocaine starts out to be addicted.
We often use cocaine as a crutch to make ourselves more productive or more efficient because of our high goals and ambitions.
We think it's only "just this time" to get this project done.
Many times cocaine is called the executive's drug.
The demands on executives are probably higher than most.
Demands to produce 24 hours of work in a 20 hour day.
Deadlines are strict and short.
Customers are demanding performance right now, and that new product launch deadline is approaching.
To meet that demand, you take a little coke to get that extra burst of energy.
You are instantly alert and so focused that you undoubtedly produce what you did not think you could.
You feel great and on top of the world.
Until you have to do it again! This is where the danger comes in, and you get hooked doing it again and again just to perform.
When you are by yourself you think, "I can't keep doing this" but when you with others it's "Hey look what I can do.
" Before long you are using it so often that you can't function without it! When you realize that you can't function without it, then your ambition decreases and indifference kicks in.
You will then resign yourself to the fact that you are no longer in control, that the addiction has taken control.
Not only control of your ambition, but control of your whole being.
When you see your ambitions falter because of doing cocaine, it is time to look in the mirror and say, "It is time to kill that desire before it kills me!"
