    Oil Blends for Calming

    • 1). Mix 1 drop of lavender oil and 1 drop of sage oil with 1 tsp. of almond oil and put in a hot bath. Alternately, put the drops of oil directly on an oil burner. The sage mixed with lavender is beneficial for people who prefer earthy scents.

    • 2). Mix 1 drop of chamomile oil and 1 drop of lavender oil with 1 tsp of almond oil and put in a hot bath or rub on the inside of wrists. Alternately, put the drops directly on an oil burner. Chamomile and lavender are a traditional mixture of scents to promote calm.

    • 3). Mix 1 drop of sage oil and 1 drop of patchouli oil with 1 tsp of almond oil. Apply the oil directly to the inside of the wrist and a small dab on the temples. This is a very earthy, masculine combination for relieving stress. This blend can also be added to a hot bath or an oil burner.

    Oil Blends for Healing

    • 1). Mix 1 drop of peppermint oil and 1 drop of eucalyptus oil with 1 tsp of almond oil. Rub this into the temples and underneath the nostrils. This will help decrease pain from sinuses and headaches. Alternately, this can be added to a hot bath to create aromatic steam to help clear sinuses.

    • 2). Mix 2 drops of rosemary oil and 2 drops of eucalyptus oil with 2 teaspoons of almond oil. Rub directly into the skin to relieve sore, achy muscles. Take a hot bath first to open skin pores which will help oil will soak in more readily.

    • 3). Mix 1 drop of peppermint oil and 1 drop of lavender oil with 8 ounces of hot green tea. The combination will calm upset stomach while the hot scented steam will decrease sinus congestion and pain.

    Oil Blends for Stimulation

    • 1). Mix 1 drop of jasmine oil and 1 drop of lavender oil with 1 tsp of almond oil. Rub this directly into the inside of the wrists and behind ear lobes. The floral combination will stimulate your brain and keep you more alert.

    • 2). Mix 1 drop of jasmine oil and 1 drop of lemon balm oil with 1 tsp of almond oil. Add this to a hot bath to promote mental alertness and clarity. This is beneficial if you don't want to wear a scent out of the house.

    • 3). Mix 1 drop of patchouli oil and 1 drop of lemon balm with 1 tsp of almond oil. This is a more masculine combination to promote alertness. It can be applied directly to the inside of the wrist or added to a hot bath.
