Instructions For Cricut Vinyl Clock
- 1). Place the cartridge's keypad overlay on top of the Cricut's built-in keypad panel. Insert your Cricut cartridge with the label, facing away from the machine in the cartridge slot located at the base of the machine to the right.
- 2). Press the "Power" button next to the keypad panel on your Cricut machine. your machine's display screen will show the name of the cartridge.
- 3). Press each character you want to cut, one at a time on the keypad. The display screen will show the characters you selected for cutting.
- 4). Turn the adjustment dials on the left side of your machine to adjust the speed you want to use for cutting and the size of the characters.
- 5). Turn the top of the blade's adjustment knob to 3 to set the cutting depth. This ensures that you cut the vinyl layer without cutting through the backing material. Adjust the cutting pressure dial on the right side of the machine to medium.
- 6). Place the vinyl sheet on top of the cutting mat. Locate the side of your cutting mat labeled with an arrow, and insert it into your machine so the arrow is pointing toward the machine.
- 7). Press the "Load Paper" button by the keypad panel. The machine will feed the cutting mat between the roller bars.
- 8). Press the "Cut" button located on the panel.
- 9). Press the "Unload Paper" button on the panel when the cutting stops, and remove your cutting mat from your Cricut machine.
- 1). Draw a circle on your wall with a pencil. A large plate or chipboard circle can be used as a guide.
- 2). Tie the yarn or string to the push pin, and place the push pin in the center of the circle. Stretch the yarn to the desired spots where you wish to place the vinyl numbers. Lightly mark the spots with a pencil. Remove the push pin.
- 3). Peel the vinyl numbers off the cutting mat. Adhere the numbers to the wall. Continue this step until you have placed all the numbers.
- 4). Place batteries in the electronic base of the clock hands, and attach the clock hands to the center of the circle on a nail. Or follow the mounting instructions from the manufacturer.
