How to Put a Pressure Gauge on a CO2 Tank
- 1). Cover the threads on the threaded inserts on the pressure gauge. If you plan to use an in-line pressure gauge, there will be two inserts. If your C02 tank has a threaded bung and the gauge threads into the bung, there will be only one threaded insert on the gauge.
- 2). Thread the adapter onto the "intake" or "inlet" threaded insert on the pressure gauge if the threaded insert on the pressure gauge is not the correct size for the tank's nozzle or threaded bung. Thread the adapter on with your fingers and then tighten the adapter with a wrench.
- 3). Cover the threads on the adapter with Teflon tape and then thread the adapter into the nozzle or the threaded bung of the C02 tank. Use your fingers to thread the adapter and then tighten the adapter with a wrench.
- 4). Thread the hose onto the "outlet" port of the pressure gauge if the pressure gauge is an in-line gauge.
