How Do I Crochet Real Hair?
- 1). Braid your hair close to your scalp. Start at the top of your head at the hairline and move back and forth around your head in a U-shaped formation, make straight cornrows or any pattern you like. End at the nape of your neck and fasten braids with a rubber band.
- 2). Divide the real hair extensions into small bunches.
- 3). Fold a real hair bunch in half, so there is a loop at the fold in the center.
- 4). Put your crochet hook through the bottom braid at the back of your head. The hook should be parallel to your scalp and inserted from the bottom of the braid out through the top until the hooked end extends through the top of the braid.
- 5). Catch the loop in the hook and pull it back down through the braid, so the loop is now at the bottom edge of the braid.
- 6). Reach through the loop with your fingers and catch the rest of the real hair strands. Pull it back up through the loop and cinch the strand tight against the braid.
- 7). Separate the strands and tie them in a knot up against the braid.
- 8). Move 1/2 inch down the braid. Insert your hook and attach another strand in the same manner.
