The Rising Need Of HEPA Filters

Every home today has vacuum cleaners. But not all the vacuum cleaners have a HEPA filter. A HEPA filter is, simply put, a filter that is capable of trapping the 99.97% of the small dust particles that are re-circulated back into the air by most vacuum cleaners.
HEPA filers should be included for the vacuums to minimize re-circulation of the dust particles in order to minimize allergies caused by the allergens and dust inside your home. This will help the air in your home become clean again. That is why this is a very important component of the vacuum cleaner, especially if you have family members that have allergies. This will help in lowering the possibility of them developing allergies.
There are some great articles available that study the effects of having a HEPA filter in a vacuum cleaner and those without it. These are based on clinical trials done on by different health associations and professionals. These studies are very important to be able to differentiate the true HEPA filters from those that only claim to be the same as having one.
With all the air pollutants present in every city then the need for a filter is absolutely necessary. These cannot eliminate the allergens and dust from the outside environment but it can surely help to make the air inside healthier. This will make your home a safe haven from the pollution outside. This will eliminate the incidences of your family of having or developing allergies and other diseases caused by air pathogens.
HEPA filters are not limited to vacuum cleaners. These are also present in air conditioning and air purification systems. Hospitals use this to prevent air contamination by airborne pathogens. These airborne bacteria and viruses can cause infection to the other patients inside the same hospital ward.
These are also used by airlines to keep the air inside their airplanes clean. As we all know that the inside of the cabin is pressurized and the air is re-circulated, they employ a similar and more efficient type of filter to keep the air clean while on flight. This eliminates the spreading of airborne diseases to spread among the people aboard.
There are some that claim to be similar to a HEPA filter that you have to be aware of. These do not achieve the same filtering capability of the true HEPA filters. These can eliminate around 80-90% of the dust particles and are also cheaper. So you have to choose which is important, price or your family's health.
