    • 1). Place the hanger on a flat work surface. Measure in 2 inches from either side on the bottom rod that connects the two arched side pieces. Mark a dot on the 2 inch spot with the pencil. Measure 2 inches to the side and mark with another dot. Continue until the entire rod is covered with dots spaced evenly apart.

    • 2). Fit the drill with a drill bit that is the same width as the cup hooks. Place the drill on the first marked dot and drill a hole into the wood. Repeat for all dots.

    • 3). Insert the end of a cup hook into the first drilled hole. Check to make sure that the shaft of the hook fits into the hole. Trim it with a wire hanger if it is too long. Turn the hook clockwise to screw it completely into the wood. Avoid turning it too far to prevent stripping the hook. Continue adding remaining hooks to all the drill holes.

    • 4). Arrange the hooks so all of the loops are facing the same direction. Hang the hanger on a nail in a designated area of your room or closet. Place one belt on each hook. Make additional belt hangers out of hangers as needed.
