How to Clean Paint on Tires
- 1). Fill a bucket with warm water.
- 2). Dip a soft-bristled brush--such as an old toothbrush--to brush away as much paint from the tire as possible.
- 3). Spray the tire with a tire cleaning product. Use the soft-bristled brush or a sponge to rub the cleaning product into the soap. Alternatively, a squirt of tire cleaning soap can be added to a gallon of warm water. Dip the soft-bristled brush or a sponge in the cleaning solution and rub into the tire.
- 4). Turn the hose up as high as it will go and place your thumb or finger over the nozzle to create a pressurized water flow. Spray away all of the soap residue. Repeat the steps as needed until the paint is removed.
