    • 1). Remove the terminal block cover from the back side of the dryer housing with a screwdriver. The cover is usually near the top of the dryer and either on the left or the right side depending on the make and model of the dryer.

    • 2). Thread the power supply cord wires through the access hole beneath the terminal block opening.

    • 3). Loosen the right-most screw and the left-most screw on the terminal block with a screwdriver. Attach the red and the black wires to these screws. It does not matter which wire connects to either screw. These wires are transposable.

    • 4). Loosen the center screw on the terminal block with a screwdriver. Connect the white wire to the center screw. This is the neutral wire and has to be located on the center screw.

    • 5). Loosen the screw currently attaching a wire to the dryer housing. Attach the green wire to this screw, along with the wire currently attached. This is the ground wire and cannot be attached to any of the terminal block screws. Be sure each screw is tight and replace the terminal block cover. Plug the power supply cord into a 220-volt wall outlet and test the dryer. Move the dryer into place when the test is successful.
