    • 1). Lay the phone down on a flat surface and remove the back panel. This is done by pressing down on the latch and sliding the panel downwards until it pops free. Once popped, set it to the side.

    • 2). Pull the battery out of the rear of the device. If necessary, also remove the SIM card by sliding it downwards until freed.

    • 3). Remove the three T5 Torx screws by using the appropriate screwdriver. Once removed, lift the rear casing up, separating it from the motherboard and front panel of the phone.

    • 4). Unscrew the four T5 Torx screws holding the back panel to the mainboard, then lift up to separate the mainboard from the front panel.

    • 5). Loosen the four rectangular clips on the back of the mainboard and gently remove the ribbon cable to remove the LCD screen.
