Make sure to check your e-mail, since we will be adding more lectures and workshops both in and out of the office.
Check out the dates and times to make sure to put them on your calendar.
This tip is for good health practices when it comes to eating a little healthier.

Mertz, one of the leading chiropractic consultants in the field today, created this list.
1.
No fruit and vegetable at the same meal.
2.
Keep meals simple...
3-4 foods are plenty.
3.
Don't cook with fats or hardened vegetable oils.
4.
Avoid more than two foods high in protein or starch.
5.
Omit refined foods.
6.
Natural sweeteners contain many enzymes and minerals - refined sweeteners are "empty".
7.
Try to phase out dairy products, as they clog the system, especially in combination with sweets.
This enhances bacterial action, causing rapid fermentation.
The result is incomplete digestion.
Try vegetable milk like soy, seed or nut.
8.
Water should not be drunk until you have swallowed the food in your mouth.
Water is necessary for digestion, but should not be used to wash down food.
This weakens the action of the saliva.
9.
Extremely hot or cold foods, especially cold, inhibits both the secretion and activity of gastric juices.
10.
Putrefaction is a result of excessive bacterial action.
Anything that slows or suspends digestion is favorable to bacterial activity.
Don't eat when feverish, anxious, in pain, angry overheated, chilled, or not hungry.
11.
Eat 80% raw foods(fruits & vegetables), especially during the summer months.
This is just a quick list of things to be aware of as we enter the next section of our pain free living tips.
Since our diet changes DRASTICALLY when we go on vacation or during holiday months, this list will help keep you from over-doing it, and it's a great guide to use year round! So use this list for your healthy living and enjoy the next few tips! Dr.
