Has information about the Federal Pell Grant been turning you around in circles? That means you and a lot of other moms out there as well.
Doing a simple search these days may not seem to get you very far if you don't know exactly what you are looking for.
Not knowing the name of the grant can lead you to all sorts of places that you don't want to go and you may end up being offered a product to read about it instead.
There may be a problem in getting accurate information concerning the program before you go to apply.
The schools that are involved have links to the Federal Pell Grant and have all of the information regarding requirements.
In fact, sometimes this is the best place to go for information that is accurate and easy to understand.
These university staff members have to include this information for students, so if the school is participating, it will be there.
Other places online to search for these facts are information and article databases which tend to use government websites as sources to document their information.
You can also find handy links there as well.
Sites like WikiAnswers are great, or even About.
com.
There are several directories that can put you in the right place too.
Basically any general Federal Government site will have information regarding this, and you don't have to remember the name of the grant.
If you search these sites using 'government grants' or 'government grants for mothers,' then you are bound to find it.
This grant program will usually rank in the top five results using these search words.
From there it will not be difficult to get the information that you need to make your decision.
The Federal Pell Grant does have a website, and there are many other government affiliated websites with links to the application or to information concerning it.
The Federal Government website itself has everything there that you need to know, but to apply you have to go to the Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA website.
They have the application there, and you can submit it online.
Otherwise you can pick it up at the administration office at the school that you choose.
If you are going to go this route to get your education, don't hesitate because you have to have all of the documents in by June of each school year.
