    • 1). Remove the motorcycle's seat, Maxi fuse and exhaust system.

    • 2). Take the header and heat shields out of their packaging by hand, and place them on top of a blanket. Mark the mounting clip edges of the heat shields, located below the raised grooves in the center of each shield, with the felt-tip pen.

    • 3). Attach the included bracket to the bike's transmission with its stock bolt and the Allen wrenches, and screw the bolt's washer on. Install the two remaining included hex bolts and washers with the Allen wrenches.

    • 4). Install the included circlips and flanges onto the new head pipes of the slip-ons by hand. Apply anti-seize lubricant to the bodies of the included O2 sensors gently with wooden craft sticks, and install them by hand to the motorcycle.

    • 5). Install the slip-on's front and rear head pipes to the bike with the included flange nuts and Allen wrenches. Attach the included bracket to its mounting bracket on the bike with the included flange-head bolts and the Allen wrenches.

    • 6). Install the slip-on's bottom heat shield with the included clamp loosely, keeping access to the clamp screw head open. Repeat for the slip-on's top heat shield. Adjust both shields until they are parallel and screw them in with the Allen wrenches.

    • 7). Reconnect the wires of the O2 sensors, and tie the included zip strip to the wires to hold them in place.

    • 8). Tighten all installed bolts, nuts and washers with the torque wrench, and re-install the seat, Maxi fuse and left side cover to finish installing the slip-ons.
