Acne is the most common skin disorder which predictably occurs first during the teenage. Acne is quite a problem to almost everyone. It does not only sprout up when one reaches the age of puberty but even lasts longer than that.

Back acne, also commonly called ‘bacne' is simply pimples or acne that occurs on the back. While there is no scientific explanation for why acne occurs on the back, it is certainly just as embarrassing as acne that occurs on the face. Although acne on the face and back are formed by the same principle, it is much harder to cure back acne because the back is quite a "hidden" part of the body to ones own eyes and difficult to reach when you wash your body.

The reason is the oil glands and the hair follicles, where the acne infection begins, are found in over abundance in these parts of the body. Usually it is a bad case of severe infection if acne is spread all over. The number of the areas affected is a good measure of the extent of the acne problem.  However, with a few simple rules and a little information, individuals can find back acne treatments that work and even prevent it from happening.

1. Tea tree oil can be an effective way to get rid of back acne at home. In fact, you can use this natural oil directly on your acne lesions--just make sure you dilute it with water.

2. While many individuals consider the things they put onto their bodies and how it affects acne breakouts, many people don't consider the things they put into their bodies. Certain foods are more likely to cause breakouts, including fried foods. Plenty of fruits and vegetables are important for keeping the skin and body healthy, as are whole grains, fiber and Omega 3 fatty acids.

3. When you have acne appear on your back, the first thing you should do is not wear tight clothes. Tight clothes just make your sensitive skin more irritated and will cause more acne. Washing your body thoroughly every day, especially your back, is essential in acne treatment.

4. Clean bedding, including sheets, blankets, comforters, pillowcases and duvet covers, goes a long way to getting rid of back acne. Wash your bedding at least once a week to remove dead skin cells, bacteria and oil.
