Skiing

• Every Thursday during snow season, the Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Palmerton hosts the Delaware Singles Boomers. This is the perfect event to meet up with other baby boomer singles. This resort has a variety of ski lessons for all ability levels and is conveniently located near the Delaware border. The group offers carpooling from various locations in Delaware and New Jersey for people who want the added fun of a road trip with friends.
  
  

Salsa Dance Speed Dating

• Juliana's Italian Restaurant is the place to go for a night of dancing and dialogue. The Sparks Speed Dating group puts on this and other events in and around the Harrisburg area. The evenings include draft beers, martinis and appetizers at very reasonable prices. A free salsa lesson is given courtesy of the Camelot Dance Studio and is followed by a speed dating session. The age range for this even is 30s to late 40s.
  
  

Singles Bowling

• Legacy Lanes in Pittsburgh has special events for singles in the 40 and older category. This is a great environment to mix and mingle with other singles of the same age. All skills levels are invited. The event includes three games at five dollars a piece. An additional $2.95 is charged to rent the bowling shoes if you don't own your own. • The aptly named "Romp n' Roll" is the venue for the "Let's go Roller Skating" singles group located in Glenshaw, Pennsylvania, near the Shaler Township. This group is specifically designed for Single Parents, not for a specific age group. The idea is to encourage interaction both with other singles and their children, providing a fun atmosphere for the whole family.
