    • 1). Open a Web browser on your computer and navigate to "http://192.168.2.1," click on the "Login" link and then enter your log-in information for your router's control panel. If your router was never assigned a password, simply click the "Submit" button without typing anything in.

    • 2). Click on the "Virtual Servers" link. Check the "Enabled" box next to the first port forwarding set and then enter a description for the set.

    • 3). Enter the inbound port number range that you want to forward, choose whether you want to forward TCP, UDP or both types of packets and then enter in the IP address of the computer you need to forward the ports to.

    • 4). Enter the local ports for your computer into the "Private Port" area and then click the "Apply Changes" button. Your settings changes are immediately applied.
