- 3). Cut a piece of 1/4-inch Sheetrock long enough to bend around the radius of the arch with one layer of drywall installed on it.
- 4). Spread drywall adhesive on the face of the piece of Sheetrock mounted to the arch and to the back of the loose piece.
- 5). Place the loose piece on the mounted piece to create a 1/2-inch thick layer of Sheetrock and secure it with drywall screws or nails. Allow the adhesive to cure according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- 1). Cut a piece of Sheetrock long enough to bend around the arch.
- 2). Mark straight lines across the back of the Sheetrock, three inches apart. Mark the lines closer together for tight bends, and farther apart for looser bends. Make the marks perpendicular to the long side of the piece of Sheetrock.
- 3). Cut shallow grooves along the lines in the back of the Sheetrock. Cut approximately one-third of the way into the Sheetrock.

- 1). Cut a piece of Sheetrock long enough to bend around the arch.
- 2). Spray both sides of the Sheetrock with water. Allow the water time to soak into the Sheetrock.
- 3). Continue spraying the Sheetrock, allowing the water to soak in between each spraying, until the Sheetrock is flexible enough to bend around the arch.
- 4). Bend the Sheetrock around the arch and clamp it in place, using pieces of scrap wood to keep the clamps from damaging the soft Sheetrock.
- 5). Allow the Sheetrock to dry in place. Fasten in place with screws or nails.
