How to Install OS10.3
- 1). Close all of the applications running on your Mac. Insert the OS 10.3 disk and click on the icon that appears. Click the "Install" icon that appears in the folder that opens. Click the "Restart" button. Wait for the computer to reboot.
- 2). Highlight the "Use English" option and click the "Continue" button. Click "Continue" again on the Welcome page. Click "Continue" on the Read Me page and click the "Agree" button.
- 3). Choose the volume where you want the operating system to reside. Typically it will be labeled with your old operating system. Highlight it and click the "Continue" button.
- 4). Click the radio button next to "Mac OS X" and then the "OK" button. Click "Install" in the next window. When prompted, insert the "Mac OS X Install Disc 2."
- 5). Wait for the installation to complete. The system will boot up into the new operating system automatically.
