This appealing debut from Danielle Bollinger really owes its strength to Bollinger's clean and pure vocal skills. These are already highlighted on the sparklingly earnest title track "When the Broken Hearted Love Again," which has become an anthem on the mainstream club and Circuit scene and the follow-up, the gently pulsing romancer "Kiss The Sky," appears to be following the same course but throughout the album Bollinger is in fine form over a selection of tracks that provide numerous contenders for the next single release.

Thematically the album stays with the standard themes of love and dancing for the lyrics and a brightly contemporary Pop-Dance vibe to the production. The emotional "Tearstains On The Dancefloor" hearkens back to the melodrama of "When the Broken Hearted Love Again" while adding a disco-styled guitar loop and a slightly Latin flavored percussion accents add an uplifting vibe to the pounding Tribal drums on "Forget About Today."

The drum patterns on "You Want My Love" are a bit reminiscent of the iconic Todd Terry remix for Everything But The Girl's "Missing," while "You'll Always Have Me" is highlighted with a snapping beat that nicely matches the song's heartening lyrics and the fluffy synths on the chorus which then finds a suitable match in the twittering keyboard flourishes found on the next track "Right On The Verge."

And rounding the album out are a pair of bonus mixes, a delicious Rock Mix of "Kiss The Sky" and the Tribal-slanted Chris Cox Mix (actually the Chris Cox Radio Edit not the full length Chris Cox Club Mix) of the ever-popular single "When The Broken Hearted Love Again."
