How to Put Information on a Micro SD Card

    • 1). Insert the card into your MicroSD-to-USB converter. Skip this step if your computer has an on-board SD card reader.

    • 2). Power up your PC. When the computer has finished booting, insert the MicroSD-to-USB converter into your computer's USB drive.

    • 3). Open Windows Explorer and locate your card. It can be found under "Removable Storage Devices."

    • 4). Open a separate Windows Explorer window and locate any files you wish to move onto the SD card.

    • 5). Highlight any files you wish to move. Simply drag these files to the SD card window to begin transferring them. Once the files have successfully transferred, right click the SD card and select "Eject" to safely remove the card.
