How to Replace the LCD Screen on a Kodak Easyshare Cx7530
- 1). Turn off the camera, and then place the camera horizontally with the bottom edge facing upwards. Remove the two Phillips-head screws from the bottom.
- 2). Place the camera horizontally with the top side facing upwards and the camera lens facing you. Remove the single Phillips-head screw from the right side, and then remove the two Phillips-head screws from the left side.
- 3). Insert a Phillips-head screw into the crease along the camera, and then remove the rear panel from the camera assembly.
- 4). Place the camera face-down with the LCD panel facing upwards. Pry off the rubber pad from the LCD panel with a small, flat-head screwdriver.
- 5). Tilt the LCD screen downward, and then disconnect the LCD ribbon connector from the camera's system board. Remove the old LCD screen and set it aside.
- 6). Repeat this procedure in reverse to install the new LCD screen and re-assemble the camera.
