Paying More Attention to Your Woman Is Important

Communication is so important in all social interactions, business and social alike, that it hardly need come as any surprise that it is just as important to male and female relationships.
In dealing with the subject of communication, we should keep in mind that it deals both with the verbal and nonverbal interaction that occurs between two people.
Today we will be concerned with the verbal communication that occurs between a man and a woman, especially as it relates to seduction.
Verbal communication might seem like something that is obvious and natural for all of us, but looks can be deceiving.
Just as you may cringe and "lock up" if you find you're asked to give an impromptu speech, communicating in an intimate situation can find you at a loss for words as well.
The reason is that when you have to think about what you are saying, you become overly concerned, while, if you can let the talk flow naturally, you will find that it flows much more easily.
With this in mind, think back to your past experiences where communication failed you.
Perhaps you said something that you came to regret later, or something that she said that you either didn't listen to or you downplayed the importance of.
Maybe it was a time when you should've said something to her but didn't.
In all these instances, the results can be equally regrettable.
All of these communication misfires happen to everyone at one time or another.
The trick is not to let these communication failures "lock you up," but rather, to learn from them and improve your communication skills in the future.
The basic problem can be broken down into either one of two categories: talking too much or not talking enough.
Don't talk enough and you can come across as quiet and sullen.
Talk too much and it may mean that you are not listening enough to your partner's needs and concerns.
Also, it is important to remember that men and women have different conversational styles.
According to Deborah Cannon, author of the book, "You Just Don't Understand: Women and Men In Conversation," the two sexes are fundamentally different.
With women, it's all about building rapport, establishing connections and highlighting similarities.
When a woman expresses a problem, she often expects a sympathetic ear, a shoulder to cry on.
Men too often see themselves as problem solvers, and they view a complaint as a challenge to think of a solution.
This can come across to a woman as oversimplifying the matter.
Being a caring listener is important, just as being a lively conversationalist is important at other times.
Striking an effective balance among both is the key to, and challenge of, good conversation.
