How to Make Your Own Fishing Rod Carry Tube
- 1). Apply a thin coat of PVC cement to the inside of the end cap.
- 2). Slip the end cap over one end of the PVC tube.
- 3). Wait several hours for the PVC cement to dry.
- 4). Slide the fishing rod into the tube and seal the tube by twisting the screw cap on the open end of the pipe. The PVC carry tube will protect your fishing rod from the elements.
