What are you waiting for?

Imagine the car of your dreams. It's beautiful. The color represents what is most dear to your Soul. The model and the make are aligned with who you truly are. It runs effectively and efficiently (with no emissions on cosmic energy). It's fast. It's safe. It suits you to a tee. And it represents a revolutionary way of Being that has the potential to transform the lives of thousands of people.

This car is the vehicle of your business. It's a vehicle that has the potential to make a huge difference in the world--and the potential to help you create the lifestyle and make the contribution you have always wanted to make.

And the wheels of this car are your marketing and sales. Because no matter how beautiful, how powerful, how potentially transformative your business is, if no one know about it, you are not going anywhere.

So often I see practitioners pouring their energy, time, and money into improving and developing their cars. And yes, personal growth and continuing education in your field are important. Yet most people are not getting training and coaching around how to get their cars moving, how to make friends with marketing and sales, so they can actually help people and make money. And if you are in business, you want to help people and make money so you can do your work instead of having to keep or get another job working for someone else.

The most common question I get when I ask about people's challenges in business is how do I get more clients? People ask this question, but they often are not willing to educate themselves and then take action on the necessary skills that would bring them more clients. They allow clichd images of used-car salesmen to undermine their passion and their purpose, rather than creating empowering images for themselves of who they can be offering their gifts.

So let me ask you--would you rather polish your car or drive somewhere? What are you waiting for? Are you asking for help, then rejecting the opportunity for support and education when it comes your way? Would you rather stay where it's comfortable and familiar, and be broke with your gifts inside of you? Or are you willing, are you ready, to do something different--to actually get behind the wheel and drive, to take command of your life, do what you came here to do?
