Cooling Consistency

• When a refrigerator is set to a certain temperature and the freezer is set to a much lower temperature, there sometimes is a residual effect from one side of the appliance to the other. Residual low temperatures from the freezer decrease the temperature in the refrigerator, and the higher temperatures in the refrigerator increase the lower ones in the freezer. This causes items in the freezer not to freeze as well or items in the refrigerator to get too cold. This is particularly true in older refrigerators where the insulation between the refrigerator and freezer is not as effective as it could be.
