How to Reset the Service Indicator on a Mini
- 1). Turn on the ignition switch and hold down the "Trip Odometer" button for 10 seconds until a service job output appears on the liquid crystal display on the dashboard.
- 2). Press the on-board computer button above the light controls to scroll through each service represented by a symbol (such as an oil can), which will light up on the dashboard and display the number of miles to the next service. Scroll to the symbol of the service alert you wish to be reset.
- 3). Hold down the on-board computer button until the word "Reset" appears in the liquid crystal display and then release the button. Press the on-board computer button again to reset the service. Repeat for each service you wish to reset.
