From Windows XP

• 1). Click the "Start" icon on the Windows XP task bar and then click "All Programs."
  
  
• 2). Click "System Recovery."
  
  
• 3). Click "PC Recovery." The PC Recovery program opens.
  
  

During XP Startup

• 1). Turn off the HP Pavilion dv6338se computer if it's running.
  
  
• 2). Press the "Power" button to turn on the laptop.
  
  
• 3). Press the "F11" key when the "Press <F11> for recovery" message appears in the lower-left corner of the screen. The PC Recovery program loads.
  
  

From Windows Vista

• 1). Click the Windows orb on the Windows Vista task bar and then click "All Programs."
  
  
• 2). Click "Recovery Manager."
  
  
• 3). Click "Recovery Manager" again. The HP Recovery Manager program opens.
  
  

During Vista Startup

• 1). Turn off the HP Pavilion dv6338se computer if it's running.
  
  
• 2). Press the "Power" button to turn the laptop on.
  
  
• 3). Press the "F11" key repeatedly when the "Press <F11> for recovery" message appears in the lower-left corner of the screen during the boot process. The computer boots to the HP Recovery Manager program.
