A Night Under the Stars With the Kids - The Smiles on Their Faces Will Say it All

Do you find it hard to find ways ways to keep your kids entertained.
Well, why not try camping under the stars this weekend.
All you need are a couple of happy little campers, a tent, their favourite sleeping bags, a torch each and a wonderful sense of adventure which kids always have in over supply.
Firstly, if you do not already have a tent, ask your friends if you can borrow theirs.
If you do not like to borrow, try a garage sale or maybe even St Vincent de Paul or even the camping section at K.
Mart Secondly, supplies! a sleeping bag, pillow and a torch each.
Kids get so much value out of shining the torch around in the dark.
Pick a suitable area of the back yard, you know the one, flat as can be and get hubby to set the tent up.
Do not forget to use the fly over your tent to keep the dew at bay.
Food Supplies.
These are essential for a memorable camping adventure.
Meals that the kids can help cook will also add another element of fun.
Cook dinner at the BBQ.
Why not try marshmallows over the fire too.
The kids are still wide awake, so more games after dinner are essential.
Try the scary story thing, depending on the age of your children.
Then when its bedtime, tuck everyone in and enjoy, just talking amongst yourselves, something we don't do when where inside hey.
Try to enjoy what you will probably call the worst nights sleep in your life.
Amazing how this uncomfortable nights sleep never fazes the kids, hey? Aussie Hamburgers Bread roll, round, say 15cm across.
Toasted, not merely warmed.
Buttered.
Meat pattie to match size of roll.
Thick.
Juicy.
Layer of fried onion.
Not a few pieces of diced onion.
Big rings of onion, say, half an onion even.
Bacon, at least 2 rashers.
Fried egg Slice of pineapple.
Beetroot, 2 to 4 slices.
Small mound of lettuce leaves (not shredded, get real!).
All smothered in tomato sauce.
