Is one of the main antioxidants food, the tomato (Lycopersicom esculentum), is an excellent food for those who would like to adopt a healthy diet. Another compound that we can find in the tomato is the "Glutathione". It is another compound with demonstrated antioxidant properties that helps to eliminate radicals, last ones responsible of the appearance of lots of diseases like cancer. Glutathione appears in its maximum amount on broccolis, and it found it mainly on the skin, reason why we should eat them all natural for instance on salads.
It's a suitable element getting rid of the body toxins, especially the heavy metals that produce the organism deteriorate by its accumulation.

It has been proved that the tomato helps to eliminate effectively the lead. Other foods that contain rich amounts of "Glutathione" are: garlics, potatoes, spinaches, corns and the "Verdolaga" plant.

The tomato also contains high amounts of vitamin C and vitamin A.
