Crashed Witch Costume
K. Sexton used a Halloween decoration as inspiration to make this costume.
"My younger daughter wanted to be a witch for Halloween. My mother had a soft sculpture witch crashing into the wall & my daughter loved it. That's what she wanted to be. So we used the hat with the orange hair from the sculpture, put on a black turtleneck & leotard that she had. I used extra vinyl from her sister's costume and cut it into ragged strips, pinning each onto a black elastic belt that was in the box.
We bought the orange and black striped tights at Wal-Mart, added her purple hiking boots, a lime green flower pin that I had we added above the hat brim and she was darling. Her costume cost approximately $2 for the tights." ~ K. Sexton
