    • 1). Raise the hood and locate the cam sensor against the timing chain cover on the front of the engine, behind the power steering pump reservoir.

    • 2). Pull the sensor’s electrical connection off the sensor.

    • 3). Remove the sensor’s single securing bolt with a wrench, then pull the sensor off the cylinder block.

    • 4). Position the new sensor against the cylinder block.

    • 5). Tighten the sensor’s single securing bolt to 44 in-lbs. of torque with a torque wrench.

    • 6). Plug the electrical connection into the sensor.
