How to Replace the Front Signal Lights in a Honda Prelude
- 1). Turn the engine off, remove the keys from the ignition and switch the headlights off.
- 2). Locate the turn signal assembly mounting screw inside the lower part of the grille. Remove the screw using a Phillips screwdriver.
- 3). Draw the assembly away from the bumper. Be careful not to scratch your Prelude's exterior paint.
- 4). Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and remove it from the assembly.
- 5). Pull the old bulb straight out of the socket and dispose of it immediately.
- 6). Hold the new bulb by its plastic base and install it in the socket. Twist the socket back into the turn signal assembly.
- 7). Slide the assembly into the bumper, and then turn on the engine. Test the new bulb to make sure it works before screwing the assembly into position.
