How to Replace the Front Signal Lights in a Honda Prelude

    • 1). Turn the engine off, remove the keys from the ignition and switch the headlights off.

    • 2). Locate the turn signal assembly mounting screw inside the lower part of the grille. Remove the screw using a Phillips screwdriver.

    • 3). Draw the assembly away from the bumper. Be careful not to scratch your Prelude's exterior paint.

    • 4). Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and remove it from the assembly.

    • 5). Pull the old bulb straight out of the socket and dispose of it immediately.

    • 6). Hold the new bulb by its plastic base and install it in the socket. Twist the socket back into the turn signal assembly.

    • 7). Slide the assembly into the bumper, and then turn on the engine. Test the new bulb to make sure it works before screwing the assembly into position.
