How to Tell If Someone Is Flagging Your Craigslist Ad?
- 1). Log in to your email inbox. Locate the email Craigslist sent you when you first published the ad in question and open it.
- 2). Click the link within the email to be taken to the ad. If you see your ad before you, it hasn't been flagged. If you are taken to an error page or a page that informs you the ad has been flagged and will be removed shortly, it has been flagged.
- 3). Repost the ad as close to how you originally posted it as possible and monitor the ad over the subsequent several days to see whether someone flags it again. If it stays up on the site without incident, the first flag was a fluke. If it's quickly removed from the site, consult Craigslist's Terms of Use to make sure no part of the ad violated the site's terms, which prohibit ads that contain spam, are miscategorized or otherwise violate site rules.
