The best time to think about the life after graduation is before graduation.
Regardless of what level the students are in college, as long as they didn't graduate yet, it is the ideal time to think about how to enter the real world.
A sufficient time is more than enough to prepare the graduates on the real challenge of life.
Below are some tips on how to manage life after graduation:
  1. Choose your career path.
    Think back on what aspect you are good at and work on it.
    Apply to jobs that interest you or related to your niche.
    Do not rely on your parent's or friends' choice.
    Don't let others control your destiny.
    Most of all, do not let things just happen.
    Live the life that you wanted.
    Take a lead.
  2. Set goals.
    Like when you were at school and there were deadlines, in real life you must set goals to achieve what you wanted to happen.
    This time, there's no pressure anymore.
    You will be tested on how you will set and manage your goals.
  3. Spread your wings.
    It does not mean that you have to travel the whole world.
    It just means that you have extend and maximize your talents and skills.
    You can go to other places to look for other and better opportunities.
    Do be stagnant.
    Spread your wings and fly.
  4. Be thrifty.
    Always save a little money each day.
    You will never know that the amount you had saved will be getting higher everyday.
    Being thrifty is also the first step of knowing and managing your finances.
    In this way, you know where you get your money and where it is going.
    You can use the money if you have something you need to buy but is out of budget.
    Most importantly, you can always use them during emergency cases.
  5. Smile.
    Enjoy the real world.
    In every little thing you do, start the day with a smile and you will end up smiling too.
    In the real world, your success is not measured on how many challenges you have encountered but on how you manage these challenges.
    It doesn't count if you always feel disgruntled because of the trials you had endured.
    But it counts a lot if you are still smiling amidst the difficulties that you have gone through.
    Always keep in mind that a fresh and new day is just a day away.
