We all know that the acceptance of something doesn't mean that we like it or approve of it .
Hell, how many times have we had to accept our child's boyfriend or girlfriend, or take a job we didn't particularly like? Acceptance means that, just for right now, I am not going to struggle against this situation.
I will accept this as it is right now and not let it control me.
This will stop the anxiety-producing situation at the start.
That is all it takes.
How will this process make you feel? When feeling acceptance, you feel a powerful mental state of calm and clarity.
