I found out about this campground in Woodall's, and I RV camped there in March 2008.
Describe your camping trip:
We went to the Rally in Perry, Georgia by way of visiting relatives in the Atlanta, Georgia area (we drove down from Connecticut). After the Rally, we wanted to visit Savannah for awhile. Hardeeville RV is the closest campground to Savannah and is very convenient.
Pros: Good pull-through sites, reasonable rates ($30 a night), no nonsense fast Wi-Fi service, and a good laundromat.
Cons: There are no other amenities such as bathrooms or showers. All sites are full hookups, and you have to be self-contained to camp there. There is no store, playground, etc. It's a "pass through" campground.
Nearby attractions: Savannah Georgia, Hilton Head, all of the South Carolina low country.
Further comments:
It seems to be in a GPS dead zone. Listen to the owner-operator when he gives you directions to the campground when you make your reservation. Woodall's has it right in their new 2008 edition, but our TomTom GPS had no clue where it was.
