I found out about this campground in the Good Sam Club, and I RV camped there in October 2008.
Describe your camping trip:
Our Good Sam Club camped in the Safari field, where we had electric and water. The campground is very large with over 400 sites, but the campsites are very private. The campground is on the shores of Bowdish Lake. There is a boat ramp. We kayaked on the lake and were able to enjoy our newest hobby, geocaching, by finding two caches on/in the lake.
The campground has tons of activities for families.
Pros: everything
Cons: none
Nearby attractions:
Further comments: I'm not sure what this campground is like at the height of the season when all 400+ sites are full, but in the fall it is great. My husband and I loved this campground and plan to return.
