We have been going to Cherrystone for 15 years, and I RV camped there in July 2006.

Describe your camping trip:

Cherrystone is the only place we camp. We have been going for the last 15 years straight. We started going for a week only. We now go for two weeks in a row. It has so many things to do. The kids love to crab. I love to take our boat out to catch flounder. The crafts are a favorite for our daughter.


We love to go to one of the four pools to cool off. We love to play bingo at the pavilion twice a week. Kareoke is also a favorite. We just love this place. When we turn off of Route 13, it is a shear joy knowing we are there for two weeks.

Pros: crabbing, boating, crafts and four pools.

Cons: none

Nearby attractions: Chesapeake Bay
